SUMMARY:Intensive Summer Training Camp
DESCRIPTION:Where: Ecole Romeo-Dallaire\, Quail Ridge Road\, Winnipeg\, MB\, Canada\nWhen: August 17 2026 – August 21 2026 \nJulien Camus is the former national foil coach of the Canadian team recognized for his expertise in foil and his experience at the highest international level. From 2016 to 2024\, he served as Canada’s Men’s Foil National Coach\, accompanying the country’s top athletes on international circuits\, at the World Championships\, Pan American Championships\, Pan American Games and Olympic Games. \nDuring this time\, he has contributed to the progression of Canadian men’s foil through several Olympic cycles\, with appearances at Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024. Canada finished 9th in the team event at Tokyo 2020 and 7th place in the team event at Paris 2024. Sana count a 7th place at the World Team Championships in Cairo in 2023. \nUnder his guidance\, Canadian men’s foil athletes have won 11 major medals on the Pan American scene\, including 6 silver and 5 bronze medals at the Pan American Championships and Games. \nHis approach to training is based on technical rigor\, tactical intelligence\, mental preparation and overall athlete development.
