DESCRIPTION:One of the nine sports featured in the first modern Olympic Games in Athens in 1896\, Fencing was developed by the French in the 1880s. “Fencing” comes from Latin meaning “to defend”\, and requires strength\, agility\, timing\, balance and mental fortitude to develop strong defense and attack strategies.  Come make friends and test your metal! \nThis event is for brand new fencers ages 6-13 years old. \nSpace is limited to the first 40 participants.
